- A Day Full of Flowers (End of Pico Flower Fields)
- Beach Date (Any beach of your choice!)
- Movie Night (Krikorian; 641 Camino De Los Mares B)
Typically, we’re all just wanderlust and action-driven high school students hoping to find “love in a hopeless place” (shoutout to Rihanna, for that one), so it’s usually hard to satisfy any fun and daring relationship needs of you and your “boo” (*cough, cough*, as in a date drizzled with an exact amount of perfection). As we all know, San Clemente has a lot to offer the cutest of couples… If you’ve happily settled into retirement, over 80 years old, and can’t stand cold weather. So, instead of crying over all the things you “love birds” can’t do quite yet, we’ve pulled a number of votes to figure out the top three dates to go on in San Clemente
ONE: A picnic in the flower fields of SC’s beloved Talega (and don’t forget to snap the basic yellow and purple flower pics with your one and only!). Located at the end of Pico, this little adventure could be turned into a flower-filled outing in which you and your boo have the best of times. “Trust me, bring a couple of your closest friends, your hiking shoes, and go explore,” junior, Aria Dalkas stated. Although this option is very mellow and suits San Clemente well, it’s adventurous and exciting all at the same time!
TWO: Plan a beach day! Pack your bags and head over to you and your “love’s” favorite beach. This one ranks second, as SC is known for its endless coast of beaches as sophomore Emmy Bridgeman says, “You can never go wrong with a day at the beach!” A beach day is every San Clemente native’s favorite because it’s simple, effortless, and fun! Don’t forget a yummy lunch.
THREE: Grab some popcorn, extra boxes of chocolate, and your favorite person, and make your way to the movies to have a relaxing night out in the town. San Clemente’s only movie theater, The Krikorian, is a nice place to enjoy with little to no effort at all.
